Middle Eastern Salad
THIS WEEK CALLS FOR A MIDDLE EASERN SALAD
Excited to share a classic with you.
This is a timeless classic in my home and hopefully it will be for yours too!
Lets get started :)
3 Roma Tomato. Small dice
1/2 Red onion, small dice
1/2 English or 2 Persian cucumber.diced
1/4 cup Flat leave parsley, fine chop
For the Mix
1/2 of a Lemon squeezed, into a bowl, remove any seeds
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 teaspoon Red wine vinegar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
A smidge Sumac, optional
In a medium bowl, mix your diced tomato, cucumber, onion and parsley
Add the liquid portion of the mix, stir together add salt and pepper to taste.
Sumac should be before serving.
Let sit for at least 15 minutes for the flavors to come together.
